  • Editor's note: I still remember the 1980 television series; moreover, I remember being shocked, and thrilled, at the profound insights offered by Nobel laureate economist Milton Friedman - things I'd never heard before. Astounding to me then, still awe-inspiring to me now. 

 

Free To Choose began as an award-winning PBS television series featuring Milton Friedman, Nobel Prize-winning economist. Free To Choose was also a book written by Milton and Rose Friedman, the best selling non-fiction book of 1980.
